Chinese-Man kidnapped in Nasarawa

 

A Chinese, Mr. Williams Chain, was, on Wednesday morning, kidnapped by yet-to-be identified four suspected gunmen in Kokona Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
It was gathered that the victim, who was a manager of a Chinese farm, was kidnapped at the farm located at Maraban Gati in Sabongida community in the local government.

It was learnt further that the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Sani Mohammed, alongside the director of the Department of State Services (SSS), had since Wednesday morning, after an emergency meeting, relocated to Keffi Local Government Area of the state to rescue the victim.


Sources told Tribune Online that when the victim was kidnapped, one Mr. Ebugadu Auta of Government Reservation Area (GRA), Keffi, reported the incident at Garaku Police Station.
When contacted on phone in Lafia, the state capital, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Ismaila Numan, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), confirmed the incident, saying efforts were on to rescue the victim.
