TB Joshua’s Synagogue
is standing trial alongside its contractors before a Lagos State High Court
in respect of the Friday 12 September, 2014 collapse of a guest house located
within the church premises around Ikotun-Egbe area of Lagos State, which was
said to have killed about 116 people.
Joshua’s case is however different from that of Ezeugo, who is currently
challenging, at Supreme Court, his sentence to death by hanging by a Lagos
State High Court since 2006 on a six-count charge of attempted murder and
murder.
Ayodele lamented that other churches had continued to be
silent over Joshua plights linking it to reason that the embattled SCOAN pastor
was not member of Christian Association of Nigeria and Pentecostal Fellowship
of Nigeria. He described TB Joshua as a
lonely voice in the wilderness.
