Nigeria has had a number of presidents, military rulers and a prime minister. This is an album of all the wives of all the heads of state of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

To the right is the senior wife, Hajiya Zainab. These were the three surviving wives of the late Tafawa Balewa, as at June 1989. He married four wives: Jummai, Umma, Zainab and Laraba.
