The Bowen University Teaching Hospital (BUTH), Ogbomoso hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates who are interested in pursuing a career with her for appointment into the following positions:

1.       Resident Doctor (Family Medicine)

2.       Medical Officer

3.       House Officer

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must possess the following:

1.      Resident Doctor (Family Medicine)

a.         MB.BS (Registrable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria).

b.         Evidence of full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.

c.         Evidence of satisfactory completion of the NYSC Programme or exemption by the NYSC Directorate.

d.         Current Practising license

f.          A Pass in the Primaries examination of either the NPMC or the WACP in Family Medicine is mandatory.

2.      Medical Officer

a.         MB.BS (Registrable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria).

b.         Evidence of full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.

c.         Evidence of satisfactory completion of the NYSC Programme or exemption by the NYSC Directorate.

d.         Current Practising license

3.      House Officer

a.         MB.BS (Registrable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria)

b.         Evidence of Provisional registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.

c.         Current Practising license

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Interested candidates should pay N5,000 only (Non-refundable) for application form at the cashiers counter and obtain application form from the Office of the Director of Clinical Services, Bowen University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso. Or Pay N5,000 to BUTH Savings A/C(3016780832) First Bank Nig Plc. and download the application form from www.buth.edu.ng.

Ten (10) copies of your completed application form with photocopies of your credentials should be submitted to the Human Resources Division, Bowen University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso or send a copy with evidence of payment to hrdivision@buth.edu.ng (all documents must be in .jpg or .pdf format) on or before the closing date.

Applicants are also required to submit 3 reference letters not from relatives addressed to the Chief Medical Director one of which must be from the applicant’s Pastor and at least one from the institution of training.  Please note that the reference letters must be typed on letter-head paper appropriately dated and signed.
