LAUTECH ASUU Embark On Indefinite Strike Over Unpaid Salaries

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) chapter will today Monday July 13 embark on an indefinite strike over non-payment of salaries owed them by the state government of Oyo and Osun.

The union had earlier embarked on 3 days warning strike last week, at a meeting held at the 250 lecture theater, the body (ASUU) stated that the strike was embarked upon as a result of failure to receive their salaries.
Members of the public as well as students of the institution are hereby informed of this latest development in the school.
As a result of the strike action by LAUTECH lecturers, academic activities in the school have been grounded.

Nevertheless the strike action won’t affect the harmattan semester examination.
