HOW TO RECOVER FILES FROM INFECTED FLASH DRIVES AND SD CARDS
There are two ways you can use to recover files from an infected flash drive or SD card …
By using a software (which is the easiest method), andby using command prompt (a more technical approach).
Let’s start with the easier method…

RECOVERING YOUR FILES FROM INFECTED FLASH DRIVE OR SD CARD USING MEMORY CARD FILE RECOVERY TOOLS
A recommended software you can use to recover files from infected external storage medium is Memory Card File Recovery Tool  which you can download here.
All you need to do is to download the file, open it, look for the infected storage and click recover.

RECOVERING FILES USING COMMAND PROMPT
To recover files from infected memory card or flash drive using command prompt, just follow these steps:

Step 1: Plug the flash drive or SD card that you want to recover to computer and go to “This PC” to note the drive’s letter.

Step 2: Launch your command box by pressing Win+R, type cmd and press enter, or you can go to Start>>All Programs>>Accessories>>Command Prompt. Or you can search cmd in the search box of your PC.

Step 3: Type your drive’s letter + colon and press enter. In my case, it is “E” so it should be something like this E:. Now type attrib -s -h -r /s /dand hit enter again.

Step 4: Go back to you flash drive or memory card, all things being equal, you should see all the files that where hidden due to virus infections.

It is recommended that you scan your PC for virus after doing this.
